Our company, established seven years ago, is one of the pioneering forces behind the ratchet belt in the USA. While we did not invent the ratchet system itself, we re-engineered and improved upon it. This technology has been around for 25 years and has gained significant popularity in Asia, where one of the founders of Nexbelt, Eddie, first discovered it. Upon returning to his business partner, Tom, they discussed ways to further enhance the product.
The first step we took was to upgrade the leather component, a feature often overlooked by many companies in the industry. We maintained the existing mechanism but designed a buckle that resembled a traditional pin buckle, with the added innovation of a hidden golf ball marker behind the face – a feature that earned us US patents.

To further enhance the durability and reliability of our belts, we eliminated the use of pins as mounting points and replaced them with stainless steel Hex-head screws.
