Nexbelt Men's Ratchet Leather Golf Belt in Smoke Grey
Our seven-year-old company is one of the originators of the ratchet belt in the USA. We didn't invent the ratchet system, but we re-engineered it and made it better. This technology has been around for 25 years and is very popular in Asia, where one of the founders of Nexbelt, Eddie, discovered it. He brought it back to his business partner Tom, and they discussed what could be done to improve it.
The first thing we did was to upgrade the leather – something most companies don't do today. We utilized the existing mechanism but designed a buckle to resemble a pin buckle, and a golf buckle that had a hidden ball marker behind the face, for which we received US patents.
One significant difference between our company and others is that we design and build our own tools and molds. We don't take a pre-existing mold and simply slap our logo on it. We've made the time and money to design and engineer something that is unique and better, representing our design and engineering philosophy. We strive to be different to be the best.
We have evolved our buckles by eliminating pins as mounting points and replacing them with stainless steel hex-head screws. We have also redesigned the plastic zipper to outperform and outlast every belt on the market, ensuring quality material and construction.
Our belt features a red color to show exclusivity to Nexbelt and is made of 100% leather, imported. The PRECISE-FIT RATCHET TECHNOLOGY allows for an adjustable ratcheting buckle mechanism that supports a PreciseFit for any belt size up to a 45-inch waist. Our belt straps adjust within 1/4 of an inch, making the belt quick and easy to undo or tighten, yet rather comfortable compared to a traditional pin and buckle.
Designed for the golfer with an eye for colors in his/her wardrobe, the contrast stitching makes for an upscale look but is offered at a reasonable price. You don't have to break the bank to look good on or off the course with these ratchet belts.
We've named our latest buckle design the "Jarrod" in honor of Jarrod Lyle. It's a modern interpretation of our previous buckle, with the strap stitching matching the leather. This belt can be worn casually or out on the golf course to match your favorite PGA player's style.
The clasp has two set screws to give a more reliable hold than just a clasp alone (a Nexbelt exclusive). Equipped with Allen head stainless steel screws, and NOT pins like cheaper alternatives (patent pending). The Belt Buckle size is 1 5/8" x 2 5/16".
